enter the 2008 art & essay contest!

The Connecticut After School Network is sponsoring an Art & Essay contest open to all Connecticut students in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

The Theme of the Contest is, "What Do You Love About Your After School Program?"

Prizes will be awarded for the top three essays and the top three artworks in each of four categories by grade level (K - 2; 3 - 5; 6 - 8; and 9 - 12).

Finalists art work and excerpts from essays will be on display in the upper concourse of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford for the entire month of October.

A reception and award ceremony is slated for Wednesday, October 22nd in the Legislative Office Building.
